2 male teens cited for armed robbery

CHESTERTOWN — Police here on April 11 referred two teenagers to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints that include armed robbery.

The offenses are alleged to have occurred April 10 in the 800-block of High Street.

A 15-year-old male was referred on complaints of armed robbery, theft and conspiracy.

A 17-year-old male was referred on complaints of armed robbery; theft; reckless endangerment; and first- and second-degree assault.

According to Chestertown Police Chief Ron Dixon, a knife was displayed. No injuries were reported.

Cash and AirPods earbuds were reportedly taken.
