3.6-mile Tree Run starts in Still Pond

STILL POND — The Tree Run, which celebrates Arbor Day and the arrival of spring, returns for its 36th edition in 2024. The 3.6-mile footrace begins from the four corners in Still Pond and ends at the beach in Betterton.

Trees and plants will be presented to the top three male and female finishers, as well as the youngest and oldest male and female finishers.

Runners and walkers are welcome.

This year’s race is Saturday, April 6 — rain or shine. The starting time is 10 a.m.

Refreshments and restroom facilities will be available after the race.

If you haven’t already signed up, you can do so on-site on race day from 9 to 9:45 a.m. The cost is $30.

Commemorative T-shirts will be given to all pre-registrants and as supplies last.
