3-year-old Nolan White applauded for Blessing Bag ministry

ROCK HALL — Nolan White, 3, is the youngest Blessing Bag volunteer for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rock Hall.

He represented the church’s food pantry ministry in the annual July 4 parade here and came away with the trophy for best church float.

Accompanied by his mother Jenny, Nolan was at the wheel of a toddler-appropriate “vehicle” that towed a red, white and blue decorated float. They handed out 100 empty Blessing Bags, inviting the community to fill them with nonperishable food items and return them to the church’s pantry.

“Nolan loves Jesus, dinosaurs, lawn care and serving others, and we are so proud of the heart he brings to this ministry,” members of the Rock Hall Seventh-day Adventist Church congregation said in a news release.

“Thank you to Nolan and his family for helping spread love and generosity through our Blessing Bag program,” they added.
