CHESTERTOWN — Christ First United Methodist Church choir is presenting a free Christmas cantata on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. at the former First United Methodist Church — known locally as “the church on the hill,” on the corner of Mill and High streets in Chestertown.
Everyone is welcome.
The performance of “The Ballad of Bethlehem” by Pepper Choplin — described as “a modern piece of music with some Christmas hymns blended in” — will last about 30 minutes, with light refreshments to be served afterward.
