Deadline is March 3 to nominate outstanding educators

ROCK HALL — Awards season is in full swing, including here at Kent County Public Schools.

Colleagues, students, parents, administrators, business leaders and community members are encouraged to submit the names of quality educators for Kent County Public Schools’ annual awards.

Each year, the school system honors a Teacher of the Year, a Support Employee of the Year and a Promising Educator.

Nominees are chosen from each of the KCPS buildings and interviewed by an awards committee.

The winners will be announced at Kent County Public Schools’ awards celebration April 16.

This year, you can nominate staff members on one online form that includes all three awards.

The nomination form is available at https://tinyurl.com/ry6r4sz4.

Forms must be completed by Monday, March 3.
