WORTON — Following a long-held tradition of honoring its graduating athletes, Kent County High School on Thursday, Feb. 13 celebrated its senior basketball players with gift bags, posters and balloons. From left are Abigael Lachance, Kate Cannon and JaCiah Cooper.
Escorted to center court by family and friends, there were recognized at halftime of Kent County’s game against visiting Washington High School.
Cannon is a four-year letter winner.
This is the first year in the basketball program for Cooper, a late-season addition to the team, and international student Lachance, who is attending KCHS for the 2024-25 academic year.
