CHESTERTOWN — The movements of Roanoke freshman striker Will Demus (No. 28) and Washington freshman defender Walker Patino (No. 3) are almost identical as they play a high ball in the first half of Friday afternoon’s Athey Cup match in Chestertown.
The visiting Maroons held on for a 2-1 victory in the season opener for both sides, with Demus getting the assist on their first goal.
