ASHLAND, Va. — Randolph-Macon College’s field hockey team has tied a program record with six Old Dominion Athletic Conference all-stars in 2025, including junior midfielder Brenna McLean of Rock Hall.
In voting by the conference’s nine head coaches, McLean was placed on the third team.
This was a breakout year for McLean, who appeared in all 19 games for the 12-7 Yellow Jackets with a career-high 16 starts.
Her line also included career highs in shots (22), shots on goal (12), points (eight) and goals (four).
McLean tied for second on the team with four goals and three game-winners.
She pushed her career numbers to 42 games, five goals and 11 points.
Advancing to the ODAC tournament semifinals for the first time since 2013, Randolph-Macon was defeated by top seed and eventual champion Lynchburg, 2-0.

The 2025 Yellow Jackets established a program record of nine wins by shutout.
Their 12 total wins are the most in a season since 2010.
Freshman midfielder/defender Ellee McLean, Brenna’s younger sister, appeared in five games this fall and tallied one assist.
The McLean sisters played for Queen Anne’s County High School, earning all-state and All-North Bayside Conference recognition.
