MILLINGTON — The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is asking for the public’s help as it continues to investigate Monday’s structure fire in the 32000-block of Speer Road near here.
Anyone with information is asked to call the fire marshal’s Upper Eastern Regional Office at 410-819-3500.
The area of the fire’s origin and the cause have not been determined, according to a news release from the OSFM.
The structure, identified as a 20×15-foot shed, was destroyed; loss is estimated to be $3,000, according to the news release.
No injuries were reported.
The call went out at 5:29 p.m. Monday, July 13.
The property owner reported the fire.
According to the news release, 20 volunteer firefighters answered the call and brought the fire under control in 17 minutes.
Community Fire Company of Millington was the primary responder.
