CHESTERTOWN — State Sen. Pam Beidle, who has represented the 32nd District since 2019, will give an overview of the recently completed session of the General Assembly as the guest speaker of the Democratic Club of Kent County on April 17.
She is chair of the Senate Finance Committee and serves on the Rules Committee and the Legislative Policy Committee. Other current assignments include the Maryland Veterans Caucus and the Maryland Legislative Latino Caucus.
Prior to her election to the Maryland Senate, Beidle served in the House of Delegates from 2007 to 2019.
A small business owner and former county council member, she has lived in Linthicum for 44 years.
Among the topics Beidle will address in this Zoom meeting are how the General Assembly works; how citizens can become more involved; and what the major accomplishments were of the 2025 session.
She also will discuss legislation affecting Kent County.
The April 17 meeting will open with a brief business meeting at 6:45 p.m.
At 7 p.m., Beidle will make her presentation.
Democratic Club of Kent County members will receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting.
