TOLCHESTER — The Kent County Fair is in full swing at the Ag Center, with the grounds having opened Wednesday, July 15.

Pictured here is 3-year-old Henry Mason of Raleigh, North Carolina, tidying up the cow barn on Friday night.  In the background are members of the Mason family, including Henry’s father Jeremy and grandfather Tom.  

Jeremy Mason is a Kent County 4-H alumnus, as are his siblings Jonathan, Andy and Katie. They grew up on the family’s dairy farm, Fawnwood, near Chestertown.

Saturday, July 18 is the final day of the fair, beginning with the horse shows at 8 a.m. and culminating with the 4-H livestock and cake auctions at 7 p.m.

The Kent Agriculture Center is located at 21349 Tolchester Beach Road, about a 15-minute drive from downtown Chestertown.
