Dorellie Owusu, DO, joins UM Shore Medical Group-Internal Medicine

CHESTERTOWN — University of Maryland Shore Medical Group-Internal Medicine at Chestertown has added Dorellie Owusu, DO, to its team.

Owusu sees patients 18 and older, with a special emphasis on geriatric care.

She last served as a primary care attending physician at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

Owusu earned a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University, both in New Jersey. She completed an internship at the University of North Carolina, Blue Ridge Health, in Morganton, North Carolina.

In a news release, Timothy Shanahan, DO, medical director of UM Shore Medical Group, said: “We are excited to welcome Dorellie to Internal Medicine in Chestertown. Her skills and experience will be a valuable asset to our team and to the community.”
