TOLCHESTER ESTATES — The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a fire in the 21000-block of Kansas Avenue on Monday, March 3 that destroyed a shed and its contents.
The preliminary report estimates total loss to be $10,000.
The fire originated inside the shed, according to a news release from the OSFM.
A neighbor called in the fire just after midnight, at 12:33 a.m.
According to the fire marshal’s office, 33 firefighters responded and brought the fire under control in 45 minutes.
The Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company was the primary responding agency.
The fire marshal’s office and online records of the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation identified the property owners as Ralph Henry Peck ETALS, which means Ralph Henry Peck “and others”.
