MASSEY — The Galena Lions Club will hold its annual judged car show at Massey Aerodrome from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
Massey Aerodrome, located at 33541 Maryland Line Road, is family friendly and handicap accessible (on grass).
“We’re looking forward to upwards of 200 show cars on view,” a news release states.
This is not a “fly-in” per se, but flying guests and the general public are invited to attend.
Admission is free.
Refreshments will be sold to benefit the Lions Club. There also will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a chance auction and a DJ providing music.
Registration for the car show entries will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $20. Dash plaques will be provided to the first 50 vehicles.
Judging will be conducted from noon to 1:30 p.m. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m., including the President’s Trophy and top-10 plaque awards.
This event benefits the Galena Lions Charities and the Massey Air Museum.
