CHESTERTOWN — The Tea Party Festival Committee’s ongoing celebration of independence and America’s 250th anniversary will include activities Saturday, July 4 in Chestertown’s Wilmer Park as the setup to the town’s fireworks display.
From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. vendors will be selling snacks and juice for children, as well as water and beer.
Plus there will be some fun giveaways.
“And if you’re looking for some Chestertown Tea Party Festival tri-cornered hats, or tees [T-shirts], we will have those too,” said Tea Party Festival Committee member Andy Goddard.
Chestertown’s fireworks show is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. on July Fourth.
The rain date is Sunday, July 5.
