CHESTERTOWN — In a gymnasium packed with friends, family and schoolmates, senior Nick Meikle, right, leans in to talk to classmate Brian Lloyd as they await the crowning of homecoming royalty at center court Friday night, Feb. 7 at Chestertown Christian Academy.
Lloyd was selected homecoming king and Sophie Price was selected homecoming queen during halftime of the varsity boys basketball game against Fairwinds Christian School.
The host Patriots defeated their guests from Bear, Delaware, 58-35, to improve to 4-4.
CCA junior Thomas Benson led all players with 18 points, all in the first half. Lloyd contributed 14 points and junior John Stoltzfus added 13 points.
The Patriots also won the girls game, 35-29.
