KCHS coaches applaud fall athletes

WORTON — Kent County High School celebrated its fall sports successes Monday, Nov. 13 with an assembly in the school auditorium. Coaches summarized their seasons and recognized their outstanding performers, sportsmen and Coach’s Choice award recipients.

They are listed here.

CHEERLEADING: Talicia Wright, most valuable performer; Amaya Barrett, outstanding sportsman; and Kamari Hoxter, Coach’s Choice.

CROSS COUNTRY, GIRLS: Alden Swanson, most valuable performer; Molly Depp, outstanding sportsman; and Sophie Cousineau, Coach’s Choice.

CROSS COUNTRY, BOYS: Jack Spray, most valuable performer; Lynden Saunders, outstanding sportsman; and Andrew Buckel, Coach’s Choice.

FIELD HOCKEY: Carly King, most valuable player; Kate Cannon, outstanding sportsman for the second year in a row; and Jaci Manning, Coach’s Choice.

FOOTBALL: Trice Moore, most valuable player; Ryan Myers, outstanding sportsman; and Larry Steward, Coach’s Choice.

GOLF: Landon Wallace, most valuable player; Jack Walters, outstanding sportsman; and Victor Vujanic, Coach’s Choice.

GIRLS SOCCER: Emily Blusk, most valuable player; Mary Jane Joiner, outstanding sportsman; and Allie Fithian, Coach’s Choice.

BOYS SOCCER: Martin Parrish, most valuable player for the third year in a row; Nick Stead, outstanding sportsman; and Will Speakman, Coach’s Choice.

JAYVEE VOLLEYBALL: Aaryona Wesley, most valuable player; Ariyana Green, outstanding sportsman; and Kayleen Walters, Coach’s Choice.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL: Jaeda Hoxter, most valuable player; Olivia Johnson, outstanding sportsman; and Zoe Angenieux, Coach’s Choice.
