KCHS coaches salute spring athletes

WORTON — Kent County High School’s coaches have recognized their most valuable performers, outstanding sportsmen and Coach’s Choice athletes for spring sports.

They are listed here.

BASEBALL: Jace Conner, most valuable player; Scottie Ford, outstanding sportsman; and Noah Iacona, Coach’s Choice.

GIRLS LACROSSE: Mary Jane Joiner, most valuable player for the second year in a row; Larah Mackey, outstanding sportsman; and Gillian Bonass, Coach’s Choice for the second year in a row.

BOYS LACROSSE: Martin Parrish, most valuable player for a second time (he was the MVP in 2021); Will Speakman, outstanding sportsman; and Ben Loller, Coach’s Choice.

SOFTBALL: Kate Cannon, most valuable player for the second year in a row; Laila Johnson, outstanding sportsman; and Talicia Wright, Coach’s Choice.

GIRLS TENNIS: Nina Fahrman, most valuable player; Sarah Vujanic, outstanding sportsman; and Jackie Grafton, Coach’s Choice.

BOYS TENNIS: Sebastien Cousineau, most valuable player; John Hinton, outstanding sportsman; and Aaron Saunders, Coach’s Choice for the second year in a row.

GIRLS TRACK: Ke’yare Hawkins, most valuable performer for the second year in a row; Jaeda Hoxter, outstanding sportsman; and Delilah Markovic, Coach’s Choice.

BOYS TRACK: Larry Steward, most valuable performer for the second year in a row; Gavin Larrimore, outstanding sportsman; and Rah ‘Zir Wilson, Coach’s Choice.
