WORTON — The turnout for boys soccer was large enough this fall that Kent County High School is able to field a junior varsity program for the first time since 2019.
KCHS is 2-1 with wins at Crisfield, 2-0, on Sept. 10 and at home against Mardela, 3-2, on Thursday, Sept. 19.
In their most recent outing, the Trojans raced out to a 3-0 lead at halftime on a pair of scores from De’Andre Sisco and another goal from Christopher Gonzales Lopez.
Sisco and Aiden Ruiz had the goals at Crisfield, which was the Trojans’ first away match of the season.
KCHS junior varsity players are: freshmen Joey Homyack, Brian Aldrich, Owen Sutton, Ibraham Mejia and Wesley Mullen; sophomores Eric Llamas, Nathan Sutton, Landon Merritt, Aiden Ruiz and John Coleman (goalie); and juniors De’Andre Sisco, Christopher Gonzalez Lopez, Trent Johnson, Kiyan Hynson, Daniel Harris and Daniel Garcia.
