KCHS’ Seasonal Sensations dinner concert is Dec. 18

WORTON — Kent County High School’s music and culinary arts programs are hosting their annual Seasonal Sensations dinner and concert on Wednesday night, Dec. 18 in the school cafeteria. Appetizers will be offered at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m.

The event has been described as “a fun festive evening that is a magnificent display of KCHS student talent.”

The cafeteria is transformed into a winter wonderland, KCHS culinary students prepare and serve a delicious meal, and music students in the concert band, jazz band and show choir perform holiday selections.

There also will be a silent auction with proceeds to support the music program’s annual spring trip — this year to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at Dollywood.

Anyone who would like to donate an item to the auction can email  sara.a.clarke@gmail.com or krista.lamoreaux@gmail.com.

Seasonal Sensations is a collaboration between music program director Jodi Bortz and John Keller, who leads the culinary arts program.

The cost is $35 for adults and $20 for children 12 and younger.

Email malorienmartinez@gmail.com for more information or to reserve tickets.

Tickets also can be purchased at the door.
