KCHS to induct 5 athletes, 1994 tennis teams into Hall of Fame

WORTON — To put the exclamation point on Homecoming Week at Kent County High School, five individuals and the unbeaten 1994 girls and boys tennis teams coached by Holly Bramble and Fred Wyman will be inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 18.

The honorees are Dennis Hickman, outstanding male athlete in the Class of 1993; Michelle Rodney, outstanding female sportsman in the Class of 1998; two-time state wrestling champion Brian Fox, Class of 2002; Kolyn Kirby, outstanding male athlete in the Class of 2004; and Bekah Baker, outstanding female athlete in the Class of 2012.

The induction ceremony, which is open to the public, will be held at KCHS. The school is located at 25301 Lambs Meadow Road, Worton.

There will be a formal unveiling of the inductees’ plaques to be permanently displayed on the Hall of Fame Wall near the gym at 1 p.m., to be followed by light hors d’oeuvres. The actual induction ceremony will begin at about 2 p.m.

The cost is $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
