CHESTERTOWN — Visual comedy, quick wit, artistic achievement, high energy entertainment, and the most brilliant and beautiful bubbles you’ve ever seen.
That’s what is being promised when international performer and bubble artist Casey Carle brings “Bubblemania” to the Garfied Center for the Arts on Friday night, July 17.
The comedy show for adults only features “the untamed, often unbelievable qualities of beautiful spherical liquids,” according to a news release.
The show starts at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You must be 18 or older.
The Garfield Center for the Arts is located at 210 High St in downtown Chestertown.
The event is brought to the community by Kent County Public Library as part of its “Unearth a Story” 2026 summer reading experience.
“KCPL believes in the importance of inspiring wonder and creating enrichment for all ages — including adults! — as a way to fulfill its vision to broaden connections, expand knowledge and strengthen community,” the news release states.

Casey Carle and his 10 siblings grew up in the rural farm lands of Greene, New York.
He graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts in drama and completed the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, an intensive 8- to 13-week training program in physical comedy, juggling, makeup application, acrobatics and stilt-walking, receiving a degree affectionately referred to as a “Bachelor of Fun Arts.”
Carle’s creations span the spectrum from intricate and imaginative bubble art forms to bubbles big enough to contain a person.
He’s consulted on bubble art with entertainment giants, including Cirque du Soleil, Sesame Street and SpongeBob the Musical.
