CHESTERTOWN — Ken Kozel, president and CEO of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, will be the keynote speaker at a League of Women Voters of Kent County-sponsored program on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chestertown firehouse.
Kozel will review the changes that have occurred over the past 10 years at UM Shore Regional Health, including the evolution of the health system and the regional medical center under construction in Easton.
Also presenting will be Zack Royston, vice president of rural health care transformation and executive director of the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. He will discuss services in Kent and Queen Anne’s counties.
The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.
The event is free and open to the public.
