ROCK HALL — Kent County Public Schools is seeking input from families, community members and staff on draft calendars for the 2026-27 academic year.
There are three drafts under review by the Kent County Board of Education.

The school system’s Calendar Committee opened an initial survey in December and accepted responses through early January, seeking input on community priorities such as start date, length of breaks throughout the year and the last day of school.
Using the results of that survey, the committee prepared three different calendar drafts.
This latest survey seeks the community’s input on which of the three calendar drafts for 2026-27 is the preferred option.
The Board of Education has the final vote on the school calendar.
