CHESTERTOWN — The Lions Club here on Saturday, Oct. 3 will hold its annual chicken barbecue on the grounds of Trinity Lutheran Church, located at the corner of Greenwood and Washington avenues.
This is a takeout-only event.
Food will be available beginning at 10:30 a.m., and will be served until gone.
Proceeds will benefit the Chestertown Lions’ vision support projects such as leader dogs, eye research, free eyeglasses and transport to eye doctors’ appointments, and school vision exams, as well as other Lions Club service initiatives that include the annual Chestertown Halloween Parade, youth sports, internships for high school students, scholarships for college students and the One School One Book program.
