WORTON — Heavy fog envelopes the Kent County High School campus on Wednesday morning, Aug. 13 for field hockey players, who hit the pitch running on the first day of preseason.
The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association, which is the governing body for high school athletics in Maryland’s 24 public school systems, established Aug. 13 as the first day of practice for all fall 2025 sports.
