Chestertown Police
ASSAULT. Leslie Lynn Leonard, 37, Chestertown, on March 20, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault. She was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.
ASSAULT. PFC Travis Burke, on March 26, responded to the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace for a reported assault. According to a CPD news release, the suspect is known to the complainants, who were referred to the district court commissioner if they wished to pursue charges. The case remains open.
ASSAULT. A 15-year-old male and a 15-year-old female, both of Chestertown, on March 29, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of assault following investigation of an incident in the 100-block of Dixon Drive. Cpl. Brandon McGinnis investigated.
DISTURBANCE. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on March 30, responded to the Washington Square shopping center for a reported disturbance. A suspect has been identified, according to a CPD news release.
FTA. David Lawrence Grant, 45, Chestertown, on April 9, was served two district court bench warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of theft, less than $100. He was released on personal recognizance.
