Chestertown Police

MDOP. PFC Eric Nunez, on May 4, took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 400-block of S. Cross St. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 15, took a report of shoplifting in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

THEFT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on May 20, took a report of a theft in the 100-block of Rolling Road. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

FRAUD. PFC Eric Nunez, on May 22, took a report of fraud in the 200-block of Radcliffe Drive. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

ASSAULT. PFC Travis Burke, on May 22, took a report of an assault in the 500-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the complainant was referred to the district court commissioner’s office if they wished to apply for charges.

 

Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Charles Antoine Freeman Jr., 42, Chestertown, on May 13, was served two circuit court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center on a $500 bond for one warrant and without bond on the other warrant.

FTA. Cedrica Celeste Arreola, 34, Millington, on May 13, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released on her own recognizance by the district court commissioner.

FTA. Joseph Charles Jackson Jr., 39, Marydel, Del., on May 15, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On May 23, he was released after posting $500 bond.

PROBATION. Montez Lamonte Blake, 40, Chestertown, on May 16, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

THEFT. Sgt. Nick Watson is investigating a reported theft May 16 in the 21000-block of Persimmon Drive, near Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant told deputies that a known suspect removed a phone and headphones from the residence.

ORDER. Joseph Henry Bridge Jr., 24, Rock Hall, on May 19, was served two district court summonses for violation of a protective order. He was released after signing for the summons.
