BURGLARY. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 15, took a report of a burglary in the 100-block of Cedar Street. According to a CPD news release, the case remains open.
ASSAULT. Jayde Nycole Walls, 21, Rock Hall, on May 19, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred April 28 on High Street. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.
THREAT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 19, responded to the 400-block of Morgnec Road for a report of past threats. According to a CPD news release, the suspect is known to the complainant. The complainant was referred to the district court commissioner to apply for a peace order.
THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 20, took a report of a theft in the 500-block of East Campus Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

DISTURBANCE. Cpl. Brandon McGinnis, on May 23, took a report of disturbance, trespassing in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on May 24, took a report of a theft in the 500-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 25, took a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 500-block of North Kent Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on May 25, took a report of a theft in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the case remains open.
DRUGS. Levi William Skinner, 25, Chestertown, on May 25, was charged with possession of cannabis exceeding the legally defined civil use amount; possession of cannabis with intent to distribute; and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of High Street. Cpl. Brandon McGinnis investigated.
THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 28, took a report of a theft in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
TRESPASS. Michele Paige Kelley, 56, no fixed address, on May 29, was charged with trespassing. She was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Scheeler Road.
BURGLARY. Two males, ages 16 and 17, both from Chestertown, on May 31, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of burglary: fourth-degree; burglary: fourth-degree tools; burglary: fourth-degree theft; theft, $1,000 to less than $25,000; malicious destruction of property; and conducting a theft scheme, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense are alleged to have occurred in the Washington Square shopping center.
PFC Travis Burke investigated.
According to a CPD news release, the investigation remains active pending the identification of other suspects.
FRAUD. PFC Travis Burke is investigating a May 31 report of fraud-impersonation in the 600-block of High Street.
THEFT. Lindsey Breann Thomas, 37, Chestertown, on June 2, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100 (two counts) and conducting a theft scheme, less than $100. The offenses are alleged to have occurred May 23 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
ASSAULT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on June 2, took a report of an alleged assault in the area of Cutter Crossing and Schauber Road. According to a CPD news release, the suspect is known to the complainant.
DRUGS. Nytre Nickael Green, 24, Chestertown, on June 5, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (to wit: cocaine); and possession of CDS paraphernalia. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 600-block of High Street.
Kent County Sheriff
MDOP. Sgt. Nick Watson is investigating a June 2 complaint of malicious destruction of property — slashed tire — to a vehicle unattended in a parking lot on Rock Hall Road. Cost to repair, replace the tire is estimated to be $350, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
COMPLY. Peyton Dallas Parks III, 30, Baltimore, on June 5, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
COMPLY. Vontaye Lamonte Gilbert, 45, Chestertown, on June 6, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
ASSAULT. DFC Wayne Baker is investigating a reported assault June 6 in the 11000-block of Bolton Road, Kennedyville. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect.
