Chestertown Police

THEFT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on July 11, took a report of a theft in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

ASSAULT. Elijah Shamar Carter, 23, Chestertown, on July 14, was served a district court summons and an arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault; and second-degree assault (two counts). He was released on $5,000 unsecured personal bond.

Marr-e-anna Lee Floyd, 18, Rock Hall, on July 16, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. She was released on personal recognizance.

Jennifer Ann Southard, 18, Earleville, on July 16, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault.

The offenses are alleged to have occurred July 10 in the 200-block of Island Lark Way, where Officer Ryan Thompson, Cpl. Brandon McGinnis and Lt. Steve Linz responded to a reported assault.

STALKING. Wesley Adams, 37, Georgetown, Del., on July 23, was served a district court summons for stalking. The offense is alleged to have occurred July 7 in the 600-block of High Street.

THEFT. Officer Pedro Rodriguez, on July 23, took a report of a theft in the Washington Square shopping center.

THEFT. Amber Michelle Yeager, 49, Sudlersville, on July 28, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100; and possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis. The offenses are alleged to have occurred July 17 in the 600-block of Washington Avenue. 

ASSAULT. A 16-year-old female, on July 28, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred July 22 in the 400-block of Morgnec Road. Officer Pedro Rodriguez investigated.

THEFT. Matthew Lewis Daly, 36, Chestertown, on July 29, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred July 23 in the Washington Square shopping center.

ASSAULT. Zachary Allan Geyer, 34, Crumpton, on July 29, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred July 25 in the 800-block of Washington Avenue. 

TRESPASS. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on July 29, took a report of trespassing in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.

THEFT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on July 29, took a report of theft in the Washington Square shopping center.

ASSAULT. Ralph Jason Maniscalco, 45, Elkton, on Aug. 1, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault and a district court summons for malicious destruction of property having a value less than $1,000. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. The offenses are alleged to have occurred July 24 in the 100-block of Brown Street.
