FTA. Brandon Thomas Eubanks, 32, Denton,, on Aug. 25, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on assault charges. According to a CPD news release, Eubanks was located in Delaware and extradited to Maryland.
He also was served a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges.
Bond initially was set at $5,000. Bond was posted on Aug. 27.
THEFT. Melvin Jerome Wilson Jr., 45, Chestertown, on Aug. 28, was charged with theft, $100 to less than $1,500 (two counts); and issuing a bad check, $100 to less than $1,500 (two counts). He was released on $1,000 unsecured personal bond. The charges stem from alleged incidents in the 300-block of High Street. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.
DRUGS. Bonnie Elizabeth Hillibush, 43, Worton, on Aug. 31, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; possession of drug paraphernalia; and altering physical evidence in a criminal case. She was released on bond. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 600-block of Washington Avenue. Officer Pedro Rodriguez investigated.

PROBATION. James Alexander Kennard, 39, Millington, on Aug. 26, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On Aug. 28, Kennard was released from commitment.
ABUSE. Samiya Renee Stewart, 25, Worton, on Aug. 27, was served a district court summons for abuse of a vulnerable adult; and second-degree assault. She was released after signing for the summons.
ASSAULT. Tylir Dashon Cunningham, 21, Rock Hall, on Aug. 28, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree rape; fourth-degree sex offense; first-degree assault (two counts); second-degree assault (three counts); and reckless endangerment (two counts). He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
PROBATION. Chance Carter Goldsboro, 40, Chestertown, on Aug. 29, was served two circuit court bench warrants for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
ASSAULT. DFC Wayne Baker is investigating a reported assault Aug. 30 in the 14000-block of Augustine Herman Highway, Galena. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect. “Neither party wished to pursue charges and were referred to the District Court Commissioner,” the news release states.
ASSAULT. Deputy Shane Steppe is investigating a reported assault Aug. 30 in the 22000-block of Great Oak Landing Road, near Chestertown. “The victim received medical treatment for minor injuries,” a sheriff’s office news release states.
AMMUNITION. Michael Antonio Kennard, 61, Chestertown, on Aug. 31, was served a district court summons for illegal possession of ammunition. He was released after signing for the summons.
