Chestertown Police

ORDER. Debra A. Hanover, 65, Chestertown, on Sept. 5, was served a district court summons for violating a protective order. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of Cannon Street. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

DRUGS. Anthony Dwaine Potts, 61, Chestertown, on Sept. 5, was served district court citations for possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; and possession of CDS paraphernalia. The offenses are alleged to have occurred on East Campus Avenue. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

DISORDERLY. Melvin Jerome Wilson Jr., 45, Chestertown, on Sept. 9, was served citations for disturbing the peace (loud noise); and disorderly conduct. He was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Sept. 4 in the 300-block of High Street, where PFC Meera Srinivasan responded for a reported assault in progress, according to a CPD news release.

FTA. Erica Anita Reeves, 39, Millington, on Sept. 14, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center.

TRESPASS. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on Sept. 14, took a report of trespassing in the 200-block of Flatland Road. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

ALCOHOL. A 17-year-old female, on Sept. 14, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of public intoxication; and underage alcohol consumption. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 800-block of High Street. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

MDOP. Officer Pedro Rodriguez, on Sept. 16, responded to the 200-block of Hadaway Drive for a complaint of malicious destruction of property. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

ASSAULT. Joshua James Allen Hunter, 38, Chestertown, on Sept. 17, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.

DISORDERLY. David Lawrence Grant, 45, Chestertown, on Sept. 19, was served a district court citation for disorderly conduct. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Mount Vernon Avenue, where PFC Eric Nunez responded for a reported disturbance, according to a CPD news release.

ASSAULT. Delaney Louise Simpler, 21, Worton, on Sept. 19, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Aug. 27 in the 100-block of Elmer T. Hawkins Drive.

THEFT. Constance Lou Hickman, 74, Chestertown, on Sept. 19, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred Sept. 18 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

TRESPASS. Michele Paige Kelley, 56, no fixed address, on Sept. 21, was served a district court citation for trespassing on private property. She was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

DISORDERLY. Erica Anita Reeves, 39, Millington, on Sept. 22, was charged with disturbing the peace; disorderly conduct; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Bond initially was set at $3,000. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Mount Vernon Avenue. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

ASSAULT. Veronica Lee Lewis, 44, Chestertown, on Sept. 25, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault; reckless endangerment; and affray. She was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Aug. 27 in the 100-block of Elmer T. Hawkins Drive.
