PEACE ORDER. Ashley Michelle Oliver, 38, Chestertown, on Sept. 23, was served a district court summons for failure to comply with a peace order. She was released after signing for the summons.
ASSAULT. DFC Tyler Baitsholts is investigating a reported assault Sept. 24 in the 13000-block of Golts Caldwell Road, near Galena. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect.
ASSAULT. Timothy George Buckless, 45, Chestertown, on Sept. 25, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault; second-degree assault (two counts); reckless endangerment; and firearm use. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On Sept. 26, he was released on $5,000 unsecured personal bond,
FTA. Averie Onye Somerville, 28, Worton, on Sept. 26, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released by the district court commissioner on her own recognizance.
BURGLARY. Tiffany Brooke Shorter, 36, Worton, on Sept. 27, was served a district court arrest warrant charging her with second-degree burglary; conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary; theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000; and conspiracy to commit theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000. She was released by the district court commissioner on $8,000 unsecured personal bond.
Shorter also was found to be wanted through the Rock Hall Police Department on a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released by the district court commissioner after service of the warrant.
BAD CHECK. Darlene Jones Stouts, 65, Still Pond, on Sept. 30, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court summons for issuing a bad check, insufficient funds, $1,500 to less than $25,000 (four counts). She was released after signing for the summons.
PROBATION. Travon Edward Harding, 30, Chestertown, on Oct. 2, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
BURGLARY. DFC Daniel Parent is investigating a reported burglary Oct. 3 in the 300-block of Ericsson Avenue, Betterton. The complainant reported that video game equipment was taken.
BURGLARY. Marie Rufine Kouame, 38, Capital Heights, on Oct. 4, was served a Prince George’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released by the district court commissioner on an unsecured bond.
