Chestertown Police

ASSAULT. Kenya Kanwanna Taylor, 32, Chestertown, on Sept. 17, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Sept. 16 in the 300-block of High Street.

ASSAULT. PFC Travis Burke, on Sept. 22, responded to the 600-block of Washington Avenue for a reported assault. A suspect was identified. “The victim did not want to pursue charges on the suspect,” according to a CPD news release.

FTA. Theron James Andrews III, 38, Elkton, on Sept. 30, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear  in court. 

DISORDERLY. Richard Joseph O’Neill 3rd, 29, Chestertown, on Sept. 30, was charged with disorderly conduct. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

THEFT. Michael Terrial Kates, 32, Chestertown, on Sept. 30, was charged with theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the Washington Square shopping center. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

THEFT. Officer Pedro Rodriguez, on Oct. 8, took a report of shoplifting in the Washington Square shopping center. A suspect has been identified, according to a CPD news release.

 

Kent County Sheriff

BURGLARY. Christopher Tavon Davis, 43, Baltimore, on Oct. 1, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree burglary; conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary; third-degree burglary; burglary: fourth-degree theft; theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000 (two counts); and conspiracy to commit theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000 (two counts). He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

PROBATION. Ryan Alan Carroll, 52, Earleville, on Oct. 5, was served a district court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

PROBATION. Theron James Andrews III, 38, Elkton, on Oct. 6, was served a district court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Burton Randall Brown Jr., 35, Chestertown, on Oct. 6, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. 

FTA. William Dudley Thompson Jr., 55, Kennedyville, on Oct. 6, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

BURGLARY. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a reported burglary Oct. 6 on Second Avenue, Betterton.
