Chestertown Police

THEFT. Craig Jamar Turner, 38, and Kristin Denise Lindsey, 40, both of Chestertown, on Jan. 9, were charged with theft, less than $100. Each was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the Washington Square shopping center. PFC Ryan Thompson and PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

THEFT. Frederick Arthur Taylor, 65, Centreville, on Jan. 13, was charged with theft, $100 to less than $1,500. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the Washington Square shopping center. Officer Karyn Harris responded to the report of a theft in progress.

THEFT. Tanganyika Nirobi Cain, 49, Worton, on Jan. 13, was charged with theft, $100 to less than $1,500. She was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the Washington Square shopping center. Officer Karyn Harris responded to the report of a theft in progress.

ASSAULT. Mark T. Nicholson, 64, Chestertown, on Jan. 16, was charged with second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Flatland Road. PFC Travis Burke investigated. 

DRUGS. Jesse Lamont Wilson, 62, Chestertown, on Jan. 18, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: crack cocaine]; and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Spring Avenue. PFC Travis Burke responded to what was reported as an unwanted person.

 

Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Prince Oppong, 56, Richmond, Va., on Jan. 7, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear on court. He was released on personal recognizance.

FTA. Michael James Williams Jr., 28, Smyrna, Del., on Jan. 8, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on personal recognizance.

LITTER. Brandon Michael Onhieser, 36, Betterton, on Jan. 9, was served a district court summons for litter/dump, more than 100 pounds. He was released after signing for the summons.

PROBATION. Charles Antoine Freeman, 42, Chestertown, on Jan. 11, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. Initially, he was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Oscar Deshon Livingston, 31, Clayton, Del., on Jan. 12, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on unsecured bond.

ASSAULT. Sheldon Walter Murray, 58, Worton, on Jan. 16, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault; and disorderly conduct. He was released after signing for the summons.

FTA. Kristina Anne Serrano, 48, Federalsburg, on Jan. 17, was served two circuit court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. Initially, she was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Devin Marquis Rasin, 39, Millington, on Jan. 17, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. 

THEFT. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a reported theft Jan. 19 in Millington. According to a sheriff’s office news release, a resident of Back Street reported that checks were taken and then forged, resulting in unauthorized transactions being made.
