ABUSE. Michael Charles Riddell, 34, Millington, on Feb. 10, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree child abuse; second-degree assault; and reckless endangerment. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On Feb. 11, he was released after posting $5,000 unsecured personal bond.

MDOP. Deputy Shane Steppe is investigating a Feb. 11 complaint of malicious destruction of property to a vehicle in the 14000-block of Augustine Herman Highway, Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported that a known suspect caused damage estimated at $3,000 to $5,000.

FUGITIVE. Raymond Costanzo, 45, Worton, on Feb. 11, was arrested on a warrant as a fugitive from the state of Pennsylvania, where he is wanted for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. Cpl. Parker Hudson made the arrest.

BURGLARY. Sgt. Travis Manning is investigating a Feb. 12 burglary and theft in the 30000-block of Daves Hill Road, near Kennedyville. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported that a known suspect entered the residence and removed items valued at about $400.

THEFT. Sgt. Nate Blazejak is investigating a Feb. 13 theft in the 7700-block of Quaker Neck Road, Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant estimated loss at $400.
