Chestertown Police

ASSAULT. Davon Lamaar Warren Jr., 21, Chestertown, on March 11, was served an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault; and child abuse. Warren initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On March 13, he was released on $10,000 unsecured personal bond. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the unit block of Schooner Way. Officer Karyn Harris investigated.

FRAUD. Sgt. Chris Schwink, on March 18, took a report of fraud by check in the 500-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

MDOP. Brandon Jamar Jameison Phillips, 33, Chestertown, on March 19, was charged with malicious destruction of property, having a value less than $1,000. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of High Street. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

THEFT. Two Chestertown area males, ages 16 and 17, on March 20, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of motor vehicle theft in the 200-block of Cannon Street. The vehicle was located in Queen Anne’s County.

THEFT. Adrian Thomas Saccone, 19, Chestertown, on March 23, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. He was released after signing for the summons. The offense is alleged to have occurred Feb. 12 in the Washington Square shopping center.

THEFT. Officer Pedro Rodriguez, on March 25, took a report of a theft in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, a suspect has been identified.

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on March 26, took a report of a theft in the 100-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

THEFT. PFC Travis Burke and Sgt. Chris Schwink, on March 27, responded to the 700-block of Washington Avenue for a reported theft. According to a CPD news release, a suspect has been indentified.
