Chestertown Police
MDOP. PFC Ryan Thompson, on May 16, took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 400-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, a suspect has been identified. The complainant was referred to the district court commissioner’s office if they wished to pursue charges.
ASSAULT. Dalesha Antoinette Wilson, 41, Chestertown, on May 18, was charged with first- and second-degree assault; and intoxicated endangerment. She was released on unsecured personal bond of $3,000. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the unit block of Schooner Way. PFC Brandon McGinnis and PFC Travis Burke responded.
THEFT. Kristopher Michael Dean, 38, Chestertown, on May 19, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree burglary; and theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offenses are alleged to have occurred April 13 in the 200-block of Pine Street. According to a CPD news release, Dean was located in Anne Arundel County and initially was held in the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
ASSAULT. A 14-year-old male, on May 19, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of assault and malicious destruction of property. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 400-block of Calvert Street. PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated.
THEFT. Kristopher Michael Dean, 38, Chestertown, on May 22, was served a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500 (two counts); fraud, personal identity theft to avoid prosecution; and making a false statement to an officer. The offenses are alleged to have occurred March 27 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
Also on May 22, Dean was served a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred April 5 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
ASSAULT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 22, took a report of an assault in the 100-block of Hadaway Drive. According to a CPD news release, “both parties were referred to the [district court] commissioners to pursue charges if they wished.”
THEFT. Tawnese Sherrie Butler, 50, Chestertown, on May 26, was charged with theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000; and theft scheme, $1,500 to less than $25,000. She was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
FRAUD. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 27, took a report of fraud, false pretenses in the 500-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 27, took a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 200-block of Cannon Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. Officer Pedro Rodriguez, on May 30, took a report of a theft in the 600-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
DISORDERLY. A 13-year-old female, on May 31, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of disorderly conduct and being a runaway. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.
THEFT. Peyton Dallas Parks, 31, Chestertown, on June 3, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100; and resisting arrest. The charges stem from alleged offenses June 1 in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.
At this time it was learned that Parks had an outstanding warrant for violation of probation from the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, according to a CPD news release,. He was transported to Baltimore City and released to the custody of Baltimore City Police.
ASSAULT. Ryan Orlando Thompson Jr., 40, Worton, on June 3, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance.
On June 4, Shawana Evet Johnson, 42, Chestertown, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. She was released on her signature.
The offenses are alleged to have occurred May 29 in the unit block of Cutter Crossing.
ASSAULT. PFC Pedro Rodriguez, on June 4, took a report of an assault in the 800-block of High Street. “The individuals were known to one another and were referred to the court commissioner to pursue charges if they wished,” a CPD news release states.
Kent County Sheriff
MDOP. Sgt. Nick Watson is investigating a May 26 report of vandalism and property damage at Betterton’s town park on 6th Avenue. Cost to repair the damage is estimated to be $350, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
ASSAULT. DFC Tyler Baitsholts is investigating a reported assault May 26 in the 6800-block of Hagy Road, Rock Hall. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by two people known to them.
ASSAULT. Tevron Eric Brown, 32, Worton, on May 26, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree child abuse; and second-degree assault. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On June 3, he posted $5,000 unsecured personal bond.
PROBATION. Tyler Lee Fox, 31, Conowingo, on May 27, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On May 29, he posted $5,000 unsecured personal bond.
FTA. Mallory Scott Bowen, 49, Chestertown, on May 27, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
BURGLARY. DFC Shane Steppe is investigating a May 28 burglary in the 21000-block of New Jersey Avenue, near Chestertown. A suspect has been identified. The complainant told deputies that someone entered their residence and “tampered with items,” according to a sheriff’s office news release.
THEFT. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a May 28 theft in the 31000-block of Olivet Circle, Galena. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant paid for a product that was never received. Loss is estimated to be $3,000.
ASSAULT. Montrail Cortez Montgomery, 32, Chestertown, on May 28, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
HOME INVASION. Levi William Skinner, 26, Chestertown, on May 31, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with home invasion; third- and fourth-degree burglary; and trespass, private property. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
THREAT. Sgt. Travis Manning is investigating a June 1 reported threat of arson to a resident of the 23000-block of Chestertown Road. “The victim reported that a known suspect threatened to burn his house down,” according to a sheriff’s office news release.
DRUGS. Chance Carter Goldsboro, 41, Chestertown, on June 1, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with possession/receive a controlled dangerous substance while confined/detained; possession of CDS, not cannabis; possession of contraband in a place of confinement; and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On June 3, he posted $5,000 unsecured personal bond.
