Chestertown Police

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan on June 5 took a report of shoplifting in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, suspects have been identified.

ASSAULT. Marcus Andrew Tobias Nixon, 31, Chestertown, on June 8, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On June 10, he was released on unsecured personal bond of $2,000. The offense is alleged to have occurred June 4 in the 800-block of Washington Avenue.

ASSAULT. PFC Ryan Thompson on June 8 took a report of an assault in the 300-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the parties are known to each other; the complainant was referred to the district court commissioner if they wished to pursue charges.

THEFT. Marcus Andrew Tobias Nixon, 31, Chestertown, on June 10, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; and second-degree assault. The offenses are alleged to have occurred June 7 in the 800-block of High Street. PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated.

ASSAULT. PFC Travis Burke on June 12 took a report of an assault in the 300-block of Calvert Street. According to a CPD news release, the parties are known to each other. At this time, the complainant did not want to pursue charges.

 

Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Kiazia Larae Kilson, 21, Chestertown, on June 4, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released by the district court commissioner on her own recognizance.

ASSAULT. Lt. Scott Duhamell is investigating a reported assault June 4 in the 23000-block of Baywood Court, near Fairlee. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by someone known to them.
