BURGLARY. Sgt. Chris Schwink on June 12 took a report of a burglary in the 100-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
ASSAULT. PFC Eric Nunez on June 17 took a report of an assault in the 100-block of Scheeler Road. According to a CPD news release, the suspect is known to the complainant and the complainant does not wish to pursue charges at this time.
STALKING. Craig Sudler Willis, 54, Chestertown, on June 19, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with stalking. He was released on unsecured personal bond of $5,000. The offense is alleged to have occurred June 17 in the 200-block of Washington Avenue.
MDOP. PFC Meera Srinivasan on June 20 took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 800-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
Kent County Sheriff
RECKLESS. Amanda Marie Wilson, 43, Chestertown, on June 10 was served a district court summons for reckless driving; driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; driving while license is suspended; and using a text messaging device/hand-held phone while driving, causing an accident. She was released after signing for the summons. The charges stem from a traffic stop April 22 in the 300-block of High Street.
DRUGS. Vontaye Lamonte Gilbert, 46, Chestertown, on June 16 was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute; conspiracy to possess a narcotic with intent to distribute; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; CDS: common nuisance, distribute narcotic; distribution of a narcotic; and possession of CDS paraphernalia [two counts]. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

Sharon Lynne Taylor, 62, Chestertown, on June 16 was served a district court arrest warrant charing her with possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute; conspiracy to possess a narcotic with intent to distribute; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; and possession of CDS paraphernalia [two counts]. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. Keenan Blaine Houston, 33, Chestertown, on June 18 was served a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. Bail initially was set at $375.
INDECENT. Sgt. Travis Manning is investigating a June 19 report of a man disrobing in the parking area at Betterton Beach.
COMPLY. Devin Marquis Rasin, 40, Millington, on June 21 was served a district court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. William Howard Fleetwood, 37, Easton, on June 22 was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
