FTA. Michael Dudley Walley, 68, Chestertown, on June 23 was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on his own recognizance by the district court commissioner.
MDOP. Cpl. Parker Hudson is investigating a June 23 report of damage to a vehicle that occurred at Bogles Wharf Landing, Eastern Neck. Cost to repair the damage is estimated to be $200 and a suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
CONTEMPT. Christopher Lee Sproates, 45, Chestertown, on June 23 was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with contempt of court [37 counts]. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. He was released on July 2 after posting unsecured personal bond.
PROBATION. Chance Carter Goldsboro, 41, Chestertown, on June 24 was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. He was released on June 26 after posting $5,000 unsecured personal bond.
PROBATION. Latoya Chonte Rogers, 33, Easton, on June 24 was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
MDOP. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a June 24 report of damage to property in the 11000-block of Colly Cove Lane, Worton.
FTA. Kiazia Larae Kilson, 21, Chestertown, on June 25 was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released by the district court commissioner on an unsecured bond.
MDOP. Sgt. Scott Lockerman on June 25 responded to Long Cove Public Landing, Rock Hall, for a report of damaged property. The complainant reported that a known person used a vehicle to push their vehicle partially off the bulkhead at the landing, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
MDOP. John Robert Rybicki, 48, Chestertown, on June 29 was served a district court summons for leaving the scene of a property damage collision; and two counts of malicious destruction of property having a value of more than $1,000. He was released after signing for the summons.
FRAUD. Jerry Phillips, 57, Chestertown, on June 27 was served a district court summons for fraud-personal information theft, more than $100.000. He was released after signing for the summons.
PROBATION. Gillian Frances Hanson, 26, Chestertown, on July 1 was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.CONTEMPT. Craig Jamar Turner, 38, Chestertown, on July 1 was served circuit court body attachments for contempt; and failure to appear in court. He was released after posting $500 cash bond.
FTA. Harvey Thomas Bowers, 61, Chestertown, on July 1 was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released by the district court commissioner on his own recognizance.
PROBATION. Craig Sudler Willis, 54, Chestertown, on July 2 was served a Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court bench warrant for violation of probation. He was released to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
PROBATION. Vontaye Lamonte Gilbert, 46, Chestertown, on July 2 was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
ASSAULT. Christopher Jason Harper, 48, Chestertown, on July 3 was charged with second-degree assault. He was released on $2,500 unsecured personal bond by the district court commissioner. The charge stems from an incident in the 23000-block of Parsons Road, near Chestertown. The victim was transported to an area hospital. DFC Tyler Baitsholts is continuing to investigate.
