Chestertown Police
DRUGS. Shanika Quante Barrett, 30, Chestertown, on July 23 was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: crack cocaine]; and possession of CDS paraphernalia. She was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred on Oak Leaf Drive. PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated.
MDOP. PFC Ryan Thompson on July 24 took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, the suspect is known to the complainant and the complainant was referred to the Office of the District Court Commissioner to file charges if they wish.
MDOP. Officer Karyn Harris on Aug. 4 took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 100-block of Elm Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active and a suspect has been identified.
BURGLARY. PFC Brandon McGinnis on Aug. 5 took a report of a burglary in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

ASSAULT. Jordan Alexandria Gsell, 28, Chestertown, on July 28 was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court summons for second-degree assault. She was released after signing for the summons.
THEFT. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a reported burglary and theft July 28 in the 30000-block of Duck Puddle Road, near Kennedyville.
FTA. Devonte Obryan Farrare, 37, Mardela Springs, on July 29 was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. Timothy Ulyssus Smith Jr., 39, Worton, on July 30 was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
MDOP. DFC Brady Collins is investigating a July 30 report of malicious destruction of property to a vehicle on Cypress Street, Millington. The complainant reported that they were driving on Cypress Street when someone threw eggs at their truck, causing damage to a rear door.
THEFT. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a reported theft from a vehicle July 31 in the 11000-block of Worton Road.
FTA. James Kenneth Archibald, 38, Elkton, on Aug. 2 was served a Cecil County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on his own recognizance by the district court commissioner.
PROBATION. Mishaad Travon Jones, 35, Chestertown, on Aug. 3 was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond
