Chestertown Police

FTA. Tammy Marie Hoffmann, 57, Chestertown, on Jan. 22, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of trespass, private property. She was released on personal recognizance.

SHOPLIFT. Cpl. Chris Schwink, on Jan. 23, took a report of shoplifting in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

ASSAULT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Jan. 24, took a report of an assault in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the case remains open.

TRAFFIC. Jose Diaz-Gomez, 32, Chestertown, on Jan. 26, was issued a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for driving without required license and authorization. He also was issued a Caroline County District Court bench warrant for driving without required license and authorization; failure to display license on demand; and driving at speed exceeding limit, 40 mph in a 30-mph zone. He was released on personal recognizance.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Chris Schwink, on Jan. 27, took a report of an assault in the 200-block of Talbot Boulevard. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

TRESPASS. Leslie Lynn Leonard, 36, on Jan. 28, was charged with trespass, private property; escape, second degree; and resist, interfere with arrest. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. PFC Meera Srinivasan and Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.
