IDENTITY THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on Jan. 31, received a report of alleged identity theft in the 400-block of Morgnec Road. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.

ASSAULT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Feb. 3, responded to the 300-block of Roosevelt Drive for a reported assault. According to a CPD news release, “both parties involved refused to press charges.” The case was cleared by exception.

ASSAULT. Kristina Marie Gormley, 42, Chestertown, on Feb. 6, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Nov. 9, 2023 in the 400-block of Morgnec Road. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.

ASSAULT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Feb. 8, responded to the area of Schooner Way for a reported assault in progress. According to a CPD news release, “both parties refused to press charges.” The case was cleared by exception.

THEFT. Derrick L’von Ferrell, 37, Crumpton, on Feb. 9, was issued a district court summons for theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred Jan. 5 in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.

THEFT. Lashonda Renee Newnam, 38, Chestertown, on Feb. 9, was issued a district court summons for theft, less than $100 (two counts). The offenses are alleged to have occurred Jan. 31 in the Washington Square shopping center. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

MDOP. A 15-year-old male, on Feb. 11, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of malicious destruction of property. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

FTA. Amoree J. Devante Simpson, 32, North Plainfield, N.J., on Feb. 21, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court for traffic offenses. He was released on personal recognizance.
