Kent County Sheriff

PROBATION. Tyray Lamar Valentine, 42, Worton, on March 12, was issued two circuit court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $50 on each warrant. Valentine also was issued two circuit court bench warrants for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond on each warrant.

BURGLARY. Cpl Nate Blazejak, on March 12, responded to the 8700-block of Rock Hall Road for a reported burglary. The complainant told police that a “large amount of currency” was taken. The investigation is continuing.

FTA. William Tyron Redding, 44, Cecilton, on March 12, was issued a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. Bond initially was set at $340.69.

COMPLY. Elizabeth Ann Ramirez, 44, Rock Hall, on March 14, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ASSAULT. Felisha Marie Warrelmann, 29,  Chestertown, on March 14, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging her with second-degree assault. She was released on personal recognizance.

COMPLY. William Merritt Ashley III, 45, Rock Hall, on March 14, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

DRUGS. Tre Lamar Kennard, 29, Chestertown, on March 15, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (three counts); possession of paraphernalia (two counts); and altering physical evidence. He was released on personal recognizance.

DRUGS. Delvon Sylvester Henry, 31, Chestertown, on March 16, was issued a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with drug-related offenses including possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute (two counts); and possession of paraphernalia (three counts).  He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

THEFT. DFC Colin Rhodes is investigating a reported theft March 17 in the 21000-block of Maine Avenue, Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant told police that a known suspect took jewelry valued at about $1,500. 

ASSAULT. DFC Dave Nolan is investigating a reported assault March 17 on Brittany Bay Drive, Rock Hall. According to a sheriff’s office news release, “the assault involved four known juveniles.”

FTA. Ashton Rashaud Hunley, 38, Rock Hall, on March 17, was issued an Anne Arundel County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, Hunley was found to be in possession of a suspected controlled dangerous substance when he was being served the warrant. He was charged with possession of CDS-not cannabis (to wit, crack cocaine); and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on personal recognizance.
