Kent County Sheriff

COMPLY. William Merritt Ashley III, 45, Rock Hall, on April 2, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. William L. Redding, 44, Cecilton, on April 5, was issued a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. He was released after posting a cash bond.

FTA. William Bradley Hood, 39, Cordova, on April 5, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

COMPLY. Nehemiah Elijah James Williams, 29, Chestertown, on April 6, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Anna Danielle Askew, 45, Galena, on April 8, was issued two circuit court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

Chestertown Police

RUNAWAY. A 17-year-old female, on March 30, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of being a runaway. Officer Ryan Thompson investigated.

THEFT. A 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, on March 31, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of motor vehicle theft; and theft from a vehicle. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of High Street. Officer Ryan Thompson investigated.

MDOP. A 15-year-old male, on March 31, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of malicious destruction of property, having a value less than $1,000; and attempted motor vehicle theft. The offenses are alleged to have occurred March 15 in the 300-block of Calvert Street. 

ASSAULT. Officer Travis Burke, on April 1, took a report of an assault in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

MDOP. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on April 2, took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 300-block of South Cross Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

ASSAULT. Aaliyah Warner, 23, Chestertown, on April 4, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred April 3 in the 100-block of Northgate Drive. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

FRAUD. Cpl. Chris Schwink, on April 4, took a report of fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 300-block of Cedar Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

ASSAULT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on April 4, took a report of an assault in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.
