Chestertown Police

THEFT. A 15-year-old male on Sept. 3 was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of unlawful taking of a recreational vehicle. The offense is alleged to have occurred May 22 in the 300-block of Washington Avenue. Officer Travis Burke investigated.

ASSAULT. Three juveniles — identified as a 14-year-old male, a 14-year-old female and a 17-year-old male — on Sept. 3 were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of assault and burglary. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Aug. 9 in the 400-block of Calvert Street.

Previously, according to police, a 15-year-old male and a 15-year-old female also were referred to the Department of Juveniles Services in this case.

THEFT. A 14-year-old male on Sept. 4 was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of motor vehicle theft and theft, less than $100. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Aug. 27 in the 400-block of Calvert Street. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

THEFT. Vontaye Lamont Gilbert, 43, Chestertown, on Sept. 27, was issued a district court summons for being a rogue and a vagabond; theft, less than $100; theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000; unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle; and theft of a credit card. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Sept. 3 in the unit block of Cutter Crossing.

ASSAULT. A 14-year-old female on Sept. 30 was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of assault. The offense is alleged to. have occurred in the 300-block of Maple Avenue. Officer Travis Burke investigated.

THEFT. Cpl. Chris Schwink is investigating an Oct. 2 reported theft in the area of Talbot Boulevard.

ASSAULT. Aaron Cody Brink, 30, Chestertown, on Oct. 3, was issued a district summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 1 in the 100-block of Manor Avenue.

ASSAULT. Kaila Raye George, 23, Chestertown, on Oct. 5, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 1 in the 100-block of Manor Avenue. 

TRESPASS. A 14-year-old female on Oct. 6 was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on two complaints of trespassing. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Maple Avenue. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

THEFT. Cpl. Chris Schwink is investigating an Oct. 7 theft of a motor vehicle in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan is investigating an Oct. 7 theft in the 200-block of Maple Avenue.

ASSAULT. PFC Meera Srinivasan is investigating a reported assault Oct. 7 in the 300-block of Washington Avenue.

ASSAULT. Durrell Tyshawn Cornish, 37, Chestertown, on Oct. 11, was issued two district court summonses for second-degree assault. The offenses are alleged to have occurred June 18 and Oct. 9.

ASSAULT. Charde Amanda Weaver, 29, Chestertown, on Oct. 11, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 9.

THREAT. PFC Brandon McGinnis is investigating alleged threats in the 100-block of Brown Street on Oct. 14.

ORDER. Durrell Tyshawn Cornish, 37, Chestertown, on Oct. 19, was issued a district summons for violating a protective order. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 10.
