Chestertown Police

MDOP. PFC Eric Nunez, on April 12, took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 200-block of Cannon Street.

THEFT. A 13-year-old male and a 13-year-old female, on April 16, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of theft. The offense is alleged to have occurred April 15 in the 300-block of High Street. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.

THEFT. Natasha Nicole Sims, 38, Chestertown, on April 18, was issued a citation for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on April 19, took a report of a theft in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

THEFT. Khori Danielle Berry, 30, Chestertown, on April 25, was issued a district court summons for theft, less than $100. The offense (a report of fraudulent checks) is alleged to have occurred March 13 in the 100-block of Flatland Road.

DISTURBANCE. Five juveniles, on April 27, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of harassment and disturbing the peace. Officer Travis Burke investigated an April 25 report of ongoing disturbances in the 200-block of Cannon Street.

Kent County Sheriff

PROBATION. Efrain Perez-Garcia, 31, Elkton, on May 8, was issued a district court bench warrant for violation of probation. He was released on personal recognizance.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Scott Lockerman is investigating a reported assault May 8 in the 24000-block of Chestertown Road, Chestertown. A suspect has been identified.

FTA. John Paul Nordhoff, 34, Rock Hall, on May 8, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on personal recognizance.

FORGERY. Charles Wesley Williams Jr., 19, Middletown, Del., on May 9, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging him with possessing/issuing forged currency; and theft, less than $100. He was released on unsecured bond.

ASSAULT. DFC Levi Manning is investigating a reported assault in the 23000-block of Baywood Court, near Fairlee. The offense was reported May 9, but is alleged to have occurred several days earlier, according to a sheriff’s office news release. A suspect has been identified.

TRESPASS. Dwain Brown Jr., 25, Chestertown, on May 11, was issued a district court summons for trespassing. He was released after signing the summons.

ASSAULT. Hollie Evans, 53, Worton, on May 11, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault. She was released after signing the summons.

ASSAULT. DFC Wayne Baker is investigating a reported assault May 11 in the 4900-block of Piney Neck Road, near Rock Hall. A suspect has been identified.

ASSAULT. Heather Marie Duncan, 33, Worton, on May 12, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault. She was released on personal recognizance.

FTA. Michael Luis Torres, 39, Galena, on May 13, was issued a Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, during service of the warrant Torres was found to be in possession of a suspected controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis and CDS paraphernalia.

He was issued citations for the CDS offenses and released into the custody of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
