ASSAULT. DFC Aquil Freeman is investigating a reported assault May 28 in the 23000-block of Baywood Court, near Fairlee. A suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

MDOP. Cpl. Nate Blazejak is investigating a May 29 report of malicious destruction of property — windows broken out of a vehicle — in the 400-block of Cypress Street, Millington. Cost to repair the damage is estimated to be less than $1,000, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

COMPLY. David Lawrence Grant, 44, Chestertown, on May 29, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Nate Blazejak is investigating a reported sexual assault May 29 in the 23000-block of Woods Edge Drive, near Fairlee. A suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

ASSAULT. Sgt. Sean Maloney is investigating “incidents in which the victim reported being sexually assaulted numerous times from 2016 to 2017 at an undisclosed location,” according to a sheriff’s office news release. The allegations were reported May 30.

ABUSE. Sgt. Sean Maloney is investigating a May 31 report of abuse of a vulnerable adult in the 25000-block of Still Pond Neck Road, near Worton.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Parker Hudson is investigating a reported assault May 31 in the 11000-block of Hackett Road, Worton. A suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

MDOP. Cpl. Parker Hudson is investigating a May 31 report of malicious destruction of property — damage to a fence and concrete planter — in the 11000-block of Hackett Road, Worton. Cost to repair the damage is estimated to be more than $1,500.

PROBATION. Shelton Maurice Wilson, 40, Centreville, on June 1, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

THEFT. Cpl. Scott Lockerman is investigating a June 1 theft of lumber in the 4200-block of Eastern Neck Road, near Rock Hall. Loss is estimated to be $300.

FTA. Deindai Emiya Farmer, 22, Dover, Del., on June 3, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released on personal recognizance.

ASSAULT. Christopher James Puzio, 45, Newark, Del., on June 3, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault; attempted second-degree assault; reckless endangerment; and numerous traffic offenses including driving at speed exceeding limit and driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol.

He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

The offenses are alleged to have occurred April 16.

DFC Kasey Griffitts of the Kent County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a Ford F15 truck for alleged traffic violations at about 11:50 p.m. on state Route 20 at Earl Nicholson Road.

The driver, subsequently identified as Puzio, did not stop and ultimately led deputies and officers from allied agencies on a lengthy pursuit.

During the chase, Puzio allegedly attempted to strike Griffitts’ vehicle.

Puzio ultimately stopped and was apprehended while walking away from his truck.
