Chestertown Police

THEFT. Officer Travis Burke, on May 10, took a report of theft via Cash App and mobile banking in the 800-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the complainant was referred to the District Court Commissioner’s Office if they wanted to pursue charges.

ASSAULT. Officer Travis Burke, on May 11, responded to the 700-block of Washington Avenue for a reported assault.

THEFT. PFC Eric Nunez, on May 13, took a report of a theft in the 300-block of Washington Avenue.

ASSAULT. Three juvenile males, on May 14, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services for assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 400-block of High Street. PFC Eric Nunez and Cpl. Chris Schwink responded to a reported assault in progress

DISORDERLY. Cpl. Chris Schwink, on May 14, responded to the 700-block of Washington Avenue for a report of a disorderly subject. A suspect has been identified, according to a CPD news release.

THEFT. Officer Travis Burke, on May 15, took a report of a theft in the 200-block of Silver Heel Drive. According to a CPD news release, the case remains open.

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 23, responded to the Washington Square shopping center for a reported shoplifting. According to a CPD news release, the case remains open.

MDOP. Officer Travis Burke, on May 25, responded to the 100-block of Oak Leaf Drive for a report of malicious destruction of property. According to a CPD news release, the complainant was referred to the District Court Commissioner’s Office if they wanted to pursue charges.

ASSAULT.  A 16-year-old female, on May 26, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services for assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 800-block of High Street. PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated. 

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 27, took a report of a theft in the area of Schooner Way. According to a CPD news release, the case remains open.

MDOP. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on May 27, responded to the 100-block of Oak Leaf Drive for a report of malicious destruction of property. According to a CPD news release, the complainant was referred to the District Court Commissioner’s Office if they wanted to pursue charges.

TRESPASS. Michele Paige Kelley, 55, Chestertown, on May 28, was charged with trespassing. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the Washington Square shopping center. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

MDOP. PFC Brandon McGinnis, on May 29, took a report of malicious destruction of property in the 400-block of S. Cross Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.

 

Kent County Sheriff

ASSAULT. Henry Arnold Gedney, 76, Kennedyville, on June 11, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance.

FTA. Brandon William Parks, 35, Chestertown, on June 12, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

MDOP. Deputy Brady Collins is investigating a report of malicious destruction of property June 12 in the 1000-block of Washington Avenue, Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, loss is estimated to be less than $1,000.

ASSAULT. Mark Ryan Kendall, 45, Rock Hall, on June 13, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance.

PROBATION. Thomas Henry Kennard, 81, Chestertown, on June 13, was issued a district court bench warrant for violation of probation. He was released on an unsecured bond.

ASSAULT. Sgt Nick Watson is investigating a reported assault June 14 in the 800-block of Washington Avenue, Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being threatened by a known suspect who brandished a knife.

FTA. Dareaus Jermaine Anderson, 35, Dover, Del., on June 14, was served two Caroline County District Court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. He was released on an unsecured bond.

FTA. Adriana Marie Devine, 36, Newark, Del., on June 16, was served a Cecil County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released on personal recognizance.
